Friday Kids club
Following on from the success of holiday clubs in February and August 2010 we decided to start a weekly kids club for the children from the community and churches of Norton.
We meet every Friday during term time, from 5:30 - 6:45, at the Parish Hall on Norton Green, subs 50p per child (£1 per family).
This is a really popular club with aroung 30 children each week from a range of local schools and churches.
The programme is planned and delivered by 2 main teams, all experienced in working with children and all holding Enhanced Disclosures from the Criminal Records Bureau. The programme is incredibly fast paced, exciting and engaging, with games, competitions, rewards, stories, craft activities, prayer and practical application of everything we share. Contact Alan for more information on this or any other aspect of the children's work, he'd love to talk further with you!
You may have heard it said that, "A great oak tree is nothing more than a little nut that held its ground!" We want our children to grow up to be strong in their faith, to make God smile by the way they live and choices they make, to help them stand firm and trust God when stormy times come so they can develop from the tiny acorn into the strong oak tree.
